User and Group Privileges

Hello,
WHen I assing privileges to a user or group, after I log off and log in again and access the Areas section of that user for example, all the properties I specified earlyer are gone...
As a result, if I assined some rights to some user to some category, for example he can delete Articles, I cannot change that... He will be able to delete Articles in that category, untill I delete that user or a category...
Is this some kind of a Bug or it is only with me ?

yes, it's a bug - often it helps if you assign it again.

If I want to reassing rights then yes, but what if I need to remove some of users privileges ?
Is there any fix for this ? or the only way is to do this all manually from the database itself ?

there is currently no way to fix it, because the code is not maintainable.

the only thing you can currently do is to mark the checkboxes, save, and goto the page again to see if they're applied or removed.

What do you mean by not Maintainable ?
After experimenting with Privileges, this is what I have found:
Privileges (check boxes) are shown Only if you are in the correct Client (selected on the first page) and are looking for priviledges for that Client.
For example a user or a group has right ABC for client X and DEF for client Y.
The rights were set for each client, when a specific client was selected in my case. (havent tested yet if it is possible to assing rights for client Y when you are in client X)

If You are in Client X, you can view priviledges only for Client X, but not for Client Y(even if you choose another client in the dropdown menu) and vise versa.

Is this the right definition of this bug or in reality there its something else ?

I am sorry for wasting your time on this, but I want to be sure that, I dont miss anything or make any mistakes that may result in serious problems for my site...

I have changed $clients to $rights_clients in every page of Privilege assignment of groups and users. Its this ok? or it may damage something ?
