locale problem

Dear Friends,
happy new year to everybody.
I am very sorry that i am writing in English language but in section English forum has not contenido version 4.8.
I am trying to put greek language.
i made the locale\el_GR\LC_MESSAGES\contenido.po file at utf-8
xml/lang_el_GR.xml at utf-8

but i the letters are not the appropriate. it looks strange.
i tried for iso-8859-7 that it is the greek encode and the message that appear is that contenido does not support this encoding.
i would like to support the greek encoding iso-8859-7

i had already translate at poedit , contenido.

What can i do to fix it???
i want to have it also in greek language

if you have greek po-files for Contenido it would be nice if you to post them here as zip-file, so somebody can check out that behaviour.
Also we may add greek language to next version of Contenido.
Did you already translate po-files in plugins folder too?

Maybe you can give me an example with correct result and wrong result as screenshot, so i will test it. I can't speak greek, but if i'll have a picture, i'm able to test it. thx.

Hello ilias,

i think you missunderstood what i wanna say. If you'll post your .po files here, i will try to add them to next Contenido version.
I can't tell you when Contenido will be released next time, only 4fb knows.

Also i need this .po files to follow your first post and to check out if this is a bug or how to change the existing behaviour, so it will fit your needs.

I translated in half contenido in Greek language but i have problem when i put it. It shows a message: "Please use a valid language!"
Can you help me how to put the language in Contenido to test it???

Hello ilias,

you have to add greek language to Security-Class (contenido/classes/class/security.php). There's a class var named $_acceptedBelangValues holding an array with language keys. If a language isn't in this array this error is thrown.

It is ok if i put my browser in utf-8.
Can i change a variable in mysql in order to see iso-8859-7(Greek)??

Because i have always to change the browser character code.

if i put iso-8859-7 at xml file el_GR then it says it has problem at class.xml.

Also at locale/el_GR/local_messages/contenido.po, poedit says it cannot save it in greek but in utf8.
Do i make anything wrong?? At the attachment you may find the zip file
